  3. OpenLinux is a Caldera Systems-maintained distribution of the Linux
  4. operating system. Caldera Systems OpenLinux 2.3 uses the standard 2.2.10
  5. Linux kernel. It also includes other unique features, making OpenLinux
  6. the most reliable and easy-to-use Linux available.

  17. Do one of the following:

  20. Install OpenLinux with       1. Insert the Installation CD.
  21. a bootable CD-ROM drive

  72. Install StarOffice           The "recommended" and "recommended + commercial"
  73.                              installation options install only the setup 
  74.                              files for StarOffice.  Execute
  75.                              "/opt/Office51/bin/setup" on your installed
  76.                              system to complete the installation.  You will
  77.                              need a media key (inside the OpenLinux Getting
  78.                              Started Guide cover) and a registration number
  79.                              (available from http://www.stardivision.com)
  80.                              to fully install StarOffice.

  92. When you purchase this release of OpenLinux, you are entitled to
  93. installation support via the Internet to help you install the product and 
  94. ensure that the default configuration of OpenLinux is functioning correctly
  95. for you.  This installation support is limited to 90 days or five incidents,
  96. whichever occurs first.

  98. The first step to obtaining technical support is to check the Knowledge 
  99. Base on Caldera Systems' Web site at http://support.calderasystems.com. 
  100. If the Knowledge Base does not provide a solution, you can submit an 
  101. incident with your registration number and details of the problem via the 
  102. "Personal Assistance" section of the Knowledge Base.
